Location: Hamptons, NY (East End / Suffolk County)

We are a high-end residential construction and property management company serving discerning homeowners in the Hamptons. We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to help care for luxury homes with professionalism, craftsmanship, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance across residential properties (interior and exterior).
Diagnose and complete minor plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, leaks, drains).
Handle basic HVAC-related tasks (filter changes, thermostat troubleshooting, coordinating with licensed HVAC contractors for larger issues).
Perform general handyman work: doors, locks, hardware, drywall patching, painting, caulking, weatherstripping, cabinetry adjustments, and minor carpentry repairs.
Complete minor electrical work within code limitations (switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, breakers resets) and know when to escalate to a licensed electrician.
Respond to service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Document all work performed, materials used, and time on site using our digital tools.
Communicate clearly and courteously with homeowners, property managers, and vendors.
Assist with seasonal property tasks (openings/closings, storm prep, post-storm inspections, small exterior repairs).
Identify recurring issues and suggest preventative maintenance solutions.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on property maintenance, facilities, or related trade experience.
Strong working knowledge of:
Residential plumbing (minor repairs and troubleshooting).
Basic HVAC systems (gas/oil/heat pumps/mini-splits) and routine maintenance.
General handyman skills (carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware).
Minor electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets) within safety and code limits.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
Professional, respectful demeanor in high-end residential environments.
Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for work orders, photos, and documentation.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Experience working in luxury residential properties or with high-net-worth clients.
Familiarity with the Hamptons / East End area.
Certifications or trade licenses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) are a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time role with standard daytime hours; occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for emergency calls. Weekend on call rotation with the rest of the team (approximately every 4 weeks)
Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Salary range $80k - $90k
